Amy has over six years of experience working therapeutically with people of all ages across NHS and private settings, supporting individuals experiencing a wide range of psychological difficulties. She understands that everyone’s experiences are unique and is committed to creating a safe and supportive therapeutic space where people feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful change. She aims to offer an affirming and inclusive space where individuals can explore their experiences safely and openly.
Amy takes an integrative and collaborative approach to therapy, drawing on a range of evidence-based psychological models to tailor her approach to each person's needs, goals, and circumstances. Her work is informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Person-Centred Therapy, and systemic approaches. She works alongside individuals to develop a shared understanding of their experiences, using evidence-based approaches to support meaningful, lasting change.
Amy holds a First-Class BSc (Hons) in Psychology and a PGCert in Psychological Therapies (CBT), and is currently completing her Major Research Project as part of her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
Amy will be offering in appointments on Thursdays at East Crosscausway, and Fridays at Sciennes.
